About Rainsbrook Natural History
A former Education Officer at Twycross Zoo (East Midlands Zooloogical Society) Tim has travelled in 27 countries on 5 continents contributing to research projects on migrating raptors in Israel, biodiversity mapping in Turkey, the feeding ecology of the Razo Lark on Cape Verde, the population densities of savannah birds in Bolivia and of Lemurs in the Zahamena Reserve in NE Madagascar. In addition he has led or co-led tours to the Isles of Scilly, the Bay of Biscay, the Spanish Pyrenees, Poland, the Gambia, Texas and Cuba and undertaken tour reconnaissance in Uganda. Tim has contributed to a number of formal papers and two books, The Birds of Turkey and A Guide to Birdwatching in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. Tim is a founder member of the Neotropical Bird Club and a member of the team writing the Warwickshire sections of the West Midland Bird Club Annual Report.
